48. Project Manager based in KL, Malaysia
at ENGGSOL in Singapore
The contract duration is 12 months, with possibility of extension of 1 to 2 months.
Candidate is expected to start in September 2009. Urgent !!!
Nationality = no preference but ideally he / she should already be based in KL.
Salary is open to negotiation based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate is expected to be base in CyberJaya, KL reporting to 2 CIOs for regional Applications and Infrastructure division.
He/she shall be responsible to ensure smooth execution of infrastructure hardware/software migration/implementation and relocation between the 2 locations (SG + MY).
Throughout the course of work, he/she shall work closely with other internal Project Managers and technical implementers from different vendors at the 2 locations.
Devise detailed project schedule to ensure timely deliverables
Manage hardware systems/software applications from point of delivery/inception to implementation/operations
Requirements
PMP and ITIL (ver 2 or 3) certified
The candidate should have minimum 5 years to 10 years of experience in managing implementation/migration projects and excellent working knowledge of the named technologies
• Oracle EBIZ
• Systems – Sun SPARC systems, IBM pSeries, HP Wintel Servers
• OS – Solaris, AIX
• Storage – Fujitsu GR720, EMC E6K, Sun DMX8000, IBM XIV, DS8000
• Backup Systems – Symantec NetBackup PureDisk (Windows, UNIX), IBM VTL, Sun LTO1/LTO2 Tape Llbraries, Sun Backup Encryption
• Automation – CA AutoSys
Excellent English communication both oral and written
Excellent coordination skills in handling various client and vendors key personnel’s
