About the Job
Working for a Consultancy firm dynamic team across the Middle East region. Forming part of the Advisory business and covers all aspects of financial risk management, quantitative modeling, and risk-related regulation in the financial services industry.
Job Purpose
You will provide exceptional advisory services and lead multiple client engagement teams and will work with a wide variety of clients. You will be accountable for business development activities on medium sized accounts.
General Roles & Responsibilities:
• Work will include scoping, proposal writing, planning, and execution of projects covering the following:
• Business development
• Credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk management;
• Basel II and Solvency II gap analysis and implementation;
• Developing risk policies and procedures;
• Set-up and design of risk management function and processes;
• Financial modeling;
• Selection of IT systems for risk measurement and Basel II;
• Pricing techniques (including derivatives and structured products);
• Risk-related services for real estate industry;
• RAROC and economic capital computation.
Candidate Specification:
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Previous Big 4 experience
• 8-10 years’ relevant experience with a minimum of four years within a managerial position.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge in the areas of market risk, quantitative risk modeling, Basel II, credit risk.
• Masters’ degree in Finance, Financial Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Microeconomics, Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering from a reputable university.
• A professional qualification degree such as PhD, CFA, FRM, PRMIA would be preferred.
• A track record of developing new business opportunities
