About the Job
Newly created District General Manager opportunity available with one of our clients, based in Dubai.
The purpose of this position is to provide business leadership to the client business within a District to include establishing business plans, developing marketplace opportunities, overseeing internal processes, and providing employee leadership in the achievement of common goals.
Role Description
As District General Manager you will drive growth and provide strategic direction on the day to day operations, ensuring delivery on key projects within Dubai. Your mandate will include:
• Management of the Regional Profit & Loss; balancing business margins and operating costs/productivity vs. growth opportunities.
• Building strong customer-focused, Sales, Operational and Service operational capabilities for Dubai.
• Assemble a high performance regional team that strives for excellence and continuous improvement in Sales, Service and Operations.
• Identify opportunities, driving orders and Revenue Growth.
• Ensuring deployment of six sigma and driving process improvement within the region.
• Providing local market data to Global Marketing
• Assuming Executive Sponsorship of select key accounts
In addition you will contribute to the Regional Leadership team through forming close working relationship with other business units, assisting with implementing standard business processes and supporting Global and national accounts.
Who we are looking for:
Holding a business degree, you are a seasoned General Manager with experience gained in the Middle East for a high profile organisation. You will possess a proven track record in effective cost containment and have both a strategic and tactical mindset.
Strong sales background, branch management and operations experience, required. Further, you will be a self starter who has demonstrable experience consistently exceeding objectives.
