The Construction Engineer will work together with the Project Manager, and will be responsible for the mechanical interfacing and/or supporting structures in LED projects. The projects will mainly be situated in the Middle East but it is possible that assistance is needed in other countries as well. The construction engineer will be responsible for the 3 following phases in the project:

? Concept and design phase of the constructions and A/C systems, based on the requirements of the customer’s architect;
? Tendering phase, create the tenders for the mechanical constructions, evaluate the answers and choose the contractor(s);
? Implementation phase, follow up on the construction of the mechanical structures and A/C on site.

This includes and is not limited to:

? Attend kick-off meetings with customer and architects to understand the mechanical needs in the project;
? Create viewing angle drawings, concept drawings and final drawings depending on the needs of the project;
? Coordination and follow up of the installation of the steel constructions according to the scope of work defined in the contract.

Qualifications

? Master degree in structural engineering or related;
? Knowledge of standards related to mechanical constructions (Eurocode, CE, etc…);
? Knowledge of FMEA analysis;
? At least 5 year’s of working experience in building company or equal, with knowledge of mechanical structures;
? Good knowledge of Autocad;
? Knowledge of other CAD tools such as Pro-Engineer, Scia Engineer, etc… is an advantage;
? Knowledge of water proof and dust proof constructions and sealings is an advantage;
? Knowledge on airconditioning and ventilation is an advantage;
? Creative and customer oriented;
? English speaking. Arabic is an advantage;
? Located in Dubai offices but during projects can be located on site.
