About the Job
Our Clients are an award-winning, European café/restaurant, located in Muscat, Oman (a wonderful city, on the coastline, next to Dubai). We have a vacancy for a General/Operations Manager.
General or Operations Restaurant Manager
Reports directly to the owner
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the overall business performance of both of the existing outlets (one with 140 covers, the other with 120).?
• Analyze financial performance and formulate business plans to enhance sales, profitability & staff development.?
• Drive initiatives to maintain, develop and improve restaurants image in terms of customer service, quality of food & beverage, and dining atmosphere.
• Control food and beverage costs, manpower costs, operational costs and others.
• Put in place SOPs in FOH & BOH that will ensure continuity of standards.?
• Train, develop, motivate, and evaluate staff in order to ensure high standards.?
• Establish budgets as well as sales and profit targets.?
• Devise and implement marketing & promotional campaigns.?
• Identify opportunities and develop additional revenue streams.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience with a proven track record in a similar position. A minimum of 15 years overall experience in this industry.?
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal skills.?
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. exorbitant?
• Strong knowledge of cost control measures, quality control in FOH & BOH, standard consistency, inventory management, & creative menu planning/presentation?
• Age: not above 60 years.?
Other requirements
• Westerners, Eastern Europeans, South Africans, & Arabs (with western experience) preferred.?
Salary: negotiable according to experience (Oman is a tax free country)
