Leading international consulting company in Hong Kong has the following vacancy

SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

The ideal candidate will have experience in any one or all of the following disciplines (in the field of power plant design, project management, construction, operation and maintenance):
• Design or project experience, on either coal fired, renewable energy or combined cycle power plant in steam turbine, gas turbine and boiler/HRSG equipment,
• Familiarization with ASME/Chinese design codes
• Construction and commissioning experience of power plant mechanical equipment preferably on turbine/boiler major equipment
• Working experience on power plant operation and maintenance activities
• Performing feasibility study and preparation of technical report for the power plant
• Involved in the design review of power plant equipments and experience in the technical review of EPC contractors technical proposal/documentation


Other essential requirement:
• At least 10 years experience working in power plant environment and knowledge of steam turbine, gas turbine, boiler, generator, fuel supply equipment, pumps and other power plant mechanical systems
• University graduate, qualified or chartered professional engineer preferred
• Must be fluent in Mandarin and English and good in report writing.
