JOB TITLE: QA / QC Coordinator – Curtain Wall works
DEPARTMENT: QA / QC
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
BUSINESS UNIT: AALC
JOB LOCATION: DUBAI, U.A.E. or any location as required by the Company
Number of vacancies: Four
JOB PURPOSE:
Carryout QA checks to ensure implementation of ISO 9001 and ensuring that projects are completed as per project plans and all requirements of quality standard are fulfilled.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES of this JOB:
1. Ensure organization- wide implementation of ISO 9001 quality system, review its critical breach and report to superior for action.
2. Review, with managers, the quality system in their departments as and when required.
3. Coordinate with peers in other departments for day-to-day completion of operational requirements of the quality system. Identify variations and report to superior.
4. Review daily reports and match with the project documents to ensure that products produced are in accordance with the customer requirements.
5. Supervise development of monthly Site Inspection Plan, carryout inspection, identify deviations and report to superior for action.
6. Establish the internal quality audit plan and co-ordinate with auditors.
7. Follow-up audit activities in order to verify audits, and records the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive action taken; Report the result, corrective and preventive actions and the overall effectiveness of the quality system to the Operations Manager.
8. Manage Application Document & Data Control Procedures and supervise development of List of Quality Records, Control Copy of ISO Procedures, amended documents and manage distribution of the updated Control Copy of ISO Procedures to concerned departments for compliance.
9. Gather and analyze information such as Customer Complaints, Audit Report, Non-Conformance Report, Staff Suggestions in order to detect, analyze & eliminate potential causes of non-conformities.
10. Arrange and facilitate Induction Training on the quality system to all new employees joining the company.

Technical and Projects departments : Frequent coordination relating to the change in specification, drawings, time etc.
Purchase department : Frequent coordination for material procurement.
Colleagues & sub-ordinates: Frequent for the satisfactory execution of the works.
Superior / Management : Daily/Weekly/Monthly Production progress
AUTHORITY AND REPONSIBILITY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS AND MAKE DECISIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCES AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED.
· Bachelor degree in Applied Sciences and Certificate course in ISO 9000, with 5 years experience of implementing ISO 9001 systems in a process/construction industry preferably in Aluminium Factory.
· Computer Literate
· Should be flexible, highly energetic and hard-working with an open-minded approach towards the job.
· Having sound inter-personal, communication and linguistic skills.
Benefits:
Probation: Six (6) months
Nature of Position: Permanent
Monthly Salary Package: Payable in AED – to be negotiated at time of interview.
