JOB LOCATION: DUBAI, U.A.E. or any location as required by the Company
Number of vacancies: Two
JOB PURPOSE:
To plan, organize and execute the assigned project as per technical specifications, identifying and segregating the scope of project into aspects of Cladding, Glazing works, canopying, Skylights etc. Identifying the project into Curtain Wall (unitization or stick processes) as agreed with the customer within the envisaged timeframe, quality and cost.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES of this JOB:
To understand the project specifications scope in relation to aspects of Aluminum/Glass works. Plan, organize and monitor execution of project day to day activities such as engineering, surveying, Cladding, delivery and installation etc as per agreed schedules.
To coordinate with client for provision of site office, storage, electricity, water and communication facilities etc.
To ensure preparation and regular submission of correct data, including the data entailed under the established quality management system, to the concerned Departments in coordination with the team leader.
To monitor and control all associated costs such as labor man hour, accessories equipments, consumables etc. Allocation of manpower to specific nature of work in relation to Cladding, doors/windows, curtain wall, etc.
To meet overall organizational/departmental objectives, assess and identify discrepancies, variations, day to day activities site reporting, personnel training / technical needs.
To review work orders before start of production, assess and establish the bifurcation of project scope in relation to Aluminum/Glass covering (Cladding, Curtain Wall system etc). and ensure timely back & forth submission of technical data, drawings and programmes etc for necessary processing.
To act as the focal point of the main contractor / client / consultant and closely monitor and identify the projects requirements and liaison with the processing unit according to the evolving situation.
To follow the established quality management system and close QC reports / NCRs / complaints in a timely manner through appropriate corrective / preventive action.
To follow agreed project method statement, quality plan, safety plan and risk assessment according to project requirements and specifications.
IMPORTANT FEATURES OF THIS JOB:
Job holder to work at the construction sites and the site office.
Job holder needs to visit the processing unit at regular intervals to ensure smooth flow of the processed material.
COMUNICATIONS REQUIRED:
To communicate with Consultant / Contractor / Clients on regular basis.
To attend management and site meetings, if required.
AUTHORITY AND REPONSIBILITY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS AND MAKE DECISIONS:
· To analyze and find out solution of technical problems independently or in coordination with the Consultant.
Ability to make decisions with regard to overall administration of the assigned project(s) including efficient risks management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCES AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED.
Must be Graduate in Civil Engineering with 3-5 years experience or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 7-8 years experience, in the field of Aluminum/Glass Industry.
Should have very sound exposure and expertise into Curtain Wall systems (Unitization / Stick) Cladding, Glazing Works, Canopying, Skylight works etc.
Should have excellent project management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret technical documents and compile routine reports.
Benefits:
Probation: Six (6) months
Nature of Position: Permanent
Monthly Salary Package: Payable in AED – to be negotiated at time of interview.
