REPORTS TO: PLANNING MANAGER

JOB LOCATION: DUBAI, U.A.E. or any location as required by the Company
Number of vacancies: Two
JOB PURPOSE:
To assist Planning Manager for planning, scheduling, monitoring of Production and execution of Projects by ensuring quality, legal aspects, cost effectiveness and timely completion of projects
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES of this JOB:
1. Projects Planning and Scheduling Aluminium and Glazing works
2. Preparation & Updating Projects status, labor histogram and Financial forecast.
3. Preparing cash flow and projects monitoring and update.
4. Monitoring Production of Aluminium and Glass item fabricated and their delivery at projects.
5. Projects monitoring and update
6. Departmental Procedure Implementation
IMPORTANT FEATURES OF THIS JOB:
Projects planning, scheduling and monitoring.
COMUNICATIONS REQUIRED:
· Contractors – Regularly through progress meetings.
· Projects Managers – Frequently on a daily basis.
· Technical Department – Daily basis for coordination and status update.
· Estimation Department – Regularly in every tender stage.
· Production Department - Frequently on a weekly basis.
AUTHORITY AND REPONSIBILITY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS AND AKE DECISIONS:
The problem solving is highly complex in nature, as each project has its own characteristics. The magnitude of problem solving and decision making impacts both the project budgets and timeframe. The problem solving skills are required in the areas of project management, planning.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCES AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED.
· Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with at least 4 years of experience in planning & scheduling large construction projects in Aluminium Industry. Good working knowledge of Primavera Project Management Software P3, P5 & P6
· High organizational and managerial skills.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills
· Leadership qualities to influence external / internal team for best results.
· Exhibit engineering problem solving abilities to bridge the gap in working of Consultants / Contractors.
Benefits:
Probation: Six (6) months
Nature of Position: Permanent
Monthly Salary Package: Payable in AED – to be negotiated at time of interview.
Accommodation: included in the salary package.
Local Transport Allowance: included in the salary package
Joining Air Ticket: Provided
Annual Bonus: At discretion of the company
Annual Leave: 30 days paid annual leave with return air tickets once every year for self, spouse + 2 children below age of 18 years.
