CCTV PRODUCT & SYSTEM DEVELOPER/ENGINEER

We are equal opportunity employer specializing in the contract manufacturing of explosion proof CCTV products and we are searching for a candidate with a background of CCTV/Electronics/Design/IT with a solid understanding of analogue, digital & wireless camera technologies.
Knowledge and/or experience with security principles and techniques, surveillance systems, network principles, protocols, standards, various operating systems, and basic shell programming, internet software and protocols, IP's and related information.
Comprehensive knowledge of the types of CCTV products & systems used in the Industrial, Oil & Gas, Marine and Offshore sectors.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience
- Good working experience in research & design of cctv products as well as design & implementation of various types
of CCTV systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in interacting with clients, consultants, suppliers, sub-contractors etc.
- Very good command of the English language, both written and oral
- Any age, gender, race, nationality
- Foreigners are welcomed to apply
Responsibilities:
- To design new products and/or improvement/modification of exisiting products in compliance with the relevant
industry procedures and standards
- To design & propose CCTV systems based on customer requirements
- To review and approve the technical conformity of specifications provided.
- Prepare system schematic drawings and such architectural drawings as are required for bidding purposes.
- Prepare, in accordance with the tender documentation and the proposed design, a package of documentation for
subcontractors to bid against.
- To liaise with clients, consultants, system integrators and distributors both by telephone and site visits (local &
overseas) on all technical related matters.
- To assist Sales in site surveys, consultations and putting together a complete system proposal for customers
- Prepare technical specifications for consultants, system integrators, distributors to specify in tender documents
- Prepare all product drawings, specifications and technical manuals
- Prepare testing & commissioning and operating procedures
- Any other duties in line with the role.
