Microwave Engineer
at AWCC in Afghanistan
1. Handle system re-configuration, fault analyzes and isolation.
2. Installation and commisioning of different types of MW radios (Siemens, SIAE, Nera, Harris radio, Stratex, Eclipse) both PDH and SDH.
3. Perform system syncronization and MW equipment system lined-up.
4. Handle different MW NMS monitoring system (Siemens, SIAE, and Nera).
5. Performs inventory and mobility of equipments, spares, tools, and test equipments.
6. Handle trainings of Local Engineers.
7. Operate and maintain different multiplexers (SMA - 1K, ADM-C, LOOP MUX) different PDH multiplexer capacity and other ancillary equipment.
8. Gather data for site and network documentation.
9. Generate detailed and accurate reports related to the job.
10. Operate and maintain different types of MW equipments, (Preventive and Corrective Maintenance).
11. Deal with co-personnel and other department during coordination with the related works.
12. Supervise riggers for antenna system installation.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduate of Engineering with degree in Electronics and Communications, Computer, or Electrical.
2. Must have at least 5years experience in the field of MW Equipment Operation and Maintenance
3. Must have a knowledge in IP operation.
4. Can handle different types of MW NMS / test equipments.
5. Knowledgable on the operation and maintenance of different multiplexers.
6. Mus t have good working attitudes and able to work with other teams and management staff.
7. Computer literate and knows different PC software applications.
8. Must possess good communication skills.
9. Can work with less supervision.
10. Willing to be assigned anywhere in Afghanistan.
