Responsibilities : Design, develop, implement and integrate construction projects. systems and facilitate engineering principles and theory to propose design and configuration alternatives. Evaluate existing security systems to identify deficiencies and performance issues. Plan appropriately to adequately define requirements, acquire, and implement security systems Oversee the various Border Management program-specific functions, including Engineering, Field Operations, Quality Assurance, Technical Planning & Logistics, and/or Compliance Management, and cultivate customer relationships Manage contract deliverables, schedule, and reports Define metrics and processes to deliver program performance excellence Manage program financial matters (cost, profit/loss accountability) Perform program staff requirement analysis and personnel performance monitoring/reporting Develop follow-on work/cultivate additional revenue from existing programs/projects Mine current customers for additional referral opportunities Prepare and/or manage preparation of formal and informal work proposals Contribute to organizational process development and refinement.

Requirements : BS (civil engineering degree) 15-20 years engineering construction management experience Experience managing construction projects Registered Professional Engineer, masters in engineering (includes engineering management) (former former battalion operations officer, executive officer or battalion commander, district engineer project officer or district engineer, engineer brigade operations officer, executive officer) Demonstrated successful experience with complex and high visibility projects in areas of planning, operations management, control, risk analysis mitigation, and team leadership Construction knowledge/experience.
