Responsibilities and Requirements : This candidate will be responsible for the followingCreate and release purchase orders to material vendorsFollow up and track construction materials to the job site in a timely mannerTroubleshoot job site problemsCommunications with vendors and varying departmentsThis candidate will be utilizing Lawson software to create purchase orders to assist in maintaining an accurate budget for each capital project and expense items. Prompt and effective communication with vendors and site superintendents will be essential in this role.Familiarity with vendor proposals and construction documentsPrevious experience working with construction contractors and/or third partiesMust be proficient in Microsoft OfficeWord, Excel and Outlook)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be organized and have a strong attention to detailAbility to multitask and work independently and as part of a teamConstruction and/or Purchasing experience preferredLawson software experience preferredDegree preferred.
