Responsibilities and Requirements : Sr. Structural Design Engineer(Clicking here will redirect you to the Koch companies' main career site.)LocationTulsa TypeFull-TimeTravel Involved0-10%Position SummaryStructural Engineer responsible for design of piping, structural steel, pressure vessels, stacks (self, guyed, derrick supported), etc. Review and approve drawings representing design intent. Review and interpret customer specifications as applicable to the structural engineering function. Perform consulting to internal customers on matters of structural engineering, codes and standards, fabrication techniques, metallurgy, NDE, and design concepts.Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering design experience within the Refinery, Petrochemical, or related industriesis requiredProficiency in EXCEL and VB programming; knowledge of ASME. and AISC Codes and standards; familiar with industry design software are preferred.B.S. in Mechanical or Civil Engineeringis requiredM.S. or PhD in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is preferred.Compensation/BenefitsCompetitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
