Responsibilities and Requirements : This is a engineering position that will have a significant impact on the development of diagnostic imaging equipment. Provide technical expertise in the area of mechanical design. Develop and apply advanced design and engineering analysis tools and procedures. X-Ray tube engineering provides many exciting challenges, including high temperature engineering and heat transfer, precision design, materials and fabrication technologies, rotordynamics and vibration./-BS Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics or Aerospace Engineering 2 years experience in product design and development. -Experience specifying and selecting hardware such as heat exchangers, pumps, etc -Experience in mechanical design and predictive engineering such as assembly layout, tolerance and process capability analysis and stack-ups, and structural Finite Element Analysis.Additional Eligibility GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
