Responsibilities and Requirements : The individual chosen for this position will be a member of an engineering team responsible for reactors and their associated LED manufacturing processes within the Optoelectronics Group doing Nitride epitaxial growth. Shift 2nd Shift (2pm-12midnight) Two Weekends per month (no more than 5 work days per week) 24x7 reactor & process ownership Set-up, scheduling, and evaluation of production runs Data driven process decision making based on timely and thorough data analysis Process improvement through designed experimentation Yield improvement through identification and elimination of yield limiters Mentoring, coaching, and training of process technicians Candidates must come from a compound semiconductor environment Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering Candidate must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder Preferred MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering Undergrad GPA of 3.3 or better. Graduate GPA of 3.5 or better.
