Responsibilities and Requirements : Civil Engineering Co-op B has an opportunity for a civil engineering co-op in the Highway Transportation sector beginning August 2010.Our co-ops assist in the highway transportation department in either our project office, design office or the construction field, our goal is to provide our co-ops relative work experiencing by having them performPerform basic engineering calculations.Organize information for use in drawings or other documents.Assists other engineers in various tasks and duties.CAD drawings.Inspection of construction.This is done in a highly supervised setting, and will allow real experience that reflects elements of the standard post secondary engineering curriculum.NOTEThis is NOT an intern position, but a co-op term, working every other semester, that will last thru the fall semester of 2012.Preference is given to those students/schools that have a formalized co-op program.Two years of enrollment in an accredited post-secondary Civil Engineering program. Must be a currently enrolled student.Strong Interpersonal and Communication SkillsAnalytical skills with emphasis in systems approach to problem solving.
