Responsibilities:
Develops and negotiate raw material rates: prepares requests; evaluates proposals; drafts contracts; executes final contracts, after approval by Int. Purchasing Director
Develops suppliers which requires data collection and analysis based on benchmark samplings , and an understanding of vendor and competitor profiles.
Administers contracts
Controls the inventory holding of raw materials. Also controls disposal authorizations for obsolete stock and monitors all slow moving stock to ensure appropriate action is taken.
Issues schedule using MRP tool
Conducts cost studies to develop negotiating leverage, evaluate alternatives and reduce costs.
Monitors industry and regulatory trends including environmental and packaging areas.
Plans, schedules and controls all new product introductions in a team with Planning Manager.
Requisitions materials after determining delivery dates.
Requirements:
Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
With 2 - 3 years managerial experience in procurement
Preferably with expertise in MS Excel
With strong analytic and strategic skills and systematic
With good communication skills both oral and written
Willing to work in Binan, Laguna
