Our client, a public listed ship owner and shipbuilder company in Batam with worldwide operation has immediate vacancy for:-
Safety Officer
Responsibility:
• Ensure compliance of all safety legislation.
• Conduct safety meeting.
• Conduct safety and health audit and accident investigation / report.
• Recommend corrective and preventive action for any safety lapses.
• Organized safety campaign, training and legislated health screening.
• Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as may be required by the regulatory authorities.
Requirement:
• 2 years working experience in Marine Industry.
• Diploma in Environmental, Health and Safety or Marine Engineering.
• License MOM safety officer.
• Good computer knowledge.
• Ability to conduct safety / fire drills.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of all safety requirements for shipbuilding / repair.
