a) As an independent Welding,Fabrication,Mechanical SUPERVISOR handling complete execution of day-to-day activities handling a team of contractors, fabricators. Following are the major assignments
a) Co-ordination with Client for the site requirements for technical related issues such as drawings for construction, confirmation and compliance of specification requirements of equipments supplied at site as per clients requirements, inspection of materials dispatched at site and all other relevant activities concerned with an EPC Contract.
b) Technical discussions for site sub contractors for site fabrication and site erection
c) Following project execution schedule at site, distribution assignments to concerned team of contractors and fabricator.

Responsibilities :
• Product development – Identification of manufacturing processes & technology and providing technical support to the manufacturing (Capacity planning, Manpower estimation…)
• Facility planning – Identification of machining centres, toolings, material handling systems to achieve the optimum deliverables
• Project Management strategy (Business case proposal, adhering to the schedule, conducting weekly reviews, distributing the work to subordinates…etc)
• Co-ordinating with other divisions for the work to be done to achieve our organization goals, communicating the technical info to the internal customers, providing technical support to the other divisions
Tasks:
Suitably manages the synergies of team members and equipment used in order to optimise the
human and technical resources one is in charge of.
Organises, manages and co-ordinates the work of welders during various welding techniques,
ensuring compliance with quality and safety procedures and standards.
Ensures total understanding and implementation of all major contract requirements and project
specifications.
Checks the use and storage of all welding material and equipment.
Supports the QC supervisor and NDT operators in controlling and maintaining quality standards and
identifies any tendencies for anomalies and defects to occur.
Monitors welding parameters and report any deviations to the superintendent or assistant.
Provides for the training of welders/operators
