The Mainframe Developer’s duties are as follows:
• Analyzes and design applications to meet clients’ requirements
• Provide training to new recruits
• Contribute in the development of custom queries within the database
• Design source code needed to perform requirements of the applications
• Create test data to determine if the program meets the application design specification
• Document program designs, codes and system changes for future reference
Qualifications are as follows:
• Must be a graduate of Information Technology or any related computer courses.
• With at least 3 years in the IBM Mainframe environment using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS.
• Knowledge in Systems Development Life Cycle is an advantage
• Effectively uses programming development and/or issues methodology and tools
• Ability to communicate well with clients and employees
• Must be open to a contractual type of employment
• Okay with working for mid-shift.
• Willing to be assigned in Ortigas
