Underground Mine Surveyor.

We are currently recruiting for an Underground Mine Surveyor to join a rapidly growing team. Excellent on-site accommodation is provided. Recreational facilities include internet café, Foxtel, swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, gymnasium and sports oval. Mobile, and wireless broadband access available.
The principal duties include:
- Establishment and maintenance of all underground survey control.
- Daily production survey requirements.
- Volume computations for the preparation of monthly reports.
- Ensure all survey work complies with the requirements of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act and to the company standard.
- Maintenance and preparation of all working plans.
- Maintenance of all survey equipment.
- Continued development of site safety culture, work practices and systems.
The successful applicant must have the following qualifications:
- A recognised tertiary qualifications in Surveying
- Knowledge of modern survey equipment (Leica, Cavity Monitoring System).
- Computer literacy of survey packages and spreadsheets are essential
- A strong commitment to safety and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
