IT Manager
at Spret in United Arab Emirates
A fast growing Retail sector is looking for an IT Manger for their above mentioned division. This position will report to the GM and will be responsible for the all aspects of IT related task of the business. The ideal candidate should fit into the below Job Description.
• Meets daily technical support needs of 55 retails POS location and head office PC’s/ Laptops to ensure optimum operational efficiency.
• Ensure that all results are closed shift wise in ERP and daily reports are sent to headoffice.
• Identifies configuration and maintaining details for users/services needs, such as Internet Service Provision, Network Switching, Network size, back up, Desktop/Laptops standards.
• Monitors effectiveness of IT security procedures on an ongoing basis such as security details/username/password/list of all such programs.
• Makes daily backup checks and updates on Central server, ERP systems, POS. Ensure equipment required for recovery is in place.
• Acts as first point of contact to escalate through help desk/service desk.
• Creation of new Item code & price update as per the request from the Warehouse Manager in the central system.
• Monitoring and reviewing the LANs/WANs, ERP system, POS sync status from location and Warehouse. Configuration details for users/services.
• Ensure that all It related assets that provided to Head office or Location staff are documented.
• Ensures all computers and data updated for hardware, software and are protected from virus attack.
• Ensure website and emails server is functionally properly.
• Able to work under pressure, with the ability to multi task.
• UAE driver's license is a MUST.
• Bachelors’ and training on good ERP is MUST
• A patient and friendly style to ensure that excellent customer service is provided to users to aid and resolve system related issues
Education and Other Skills
• Good understanding of the structured cabling network.
• Having knowledge and hands on experience in CRUX is an advantage.
• Candidate with Retails background is preferred.
• Good communication skill in English
