Qualifications:
• Minimum of B.Sc, Higher level degree preferred.
• Substantial teaching experience (5+ years preferred) with non-native speakers of English.
• An understanding of the challenges faced by Chinese students studying abroad.
• Willingness to introduce the students to the university experience overseas.
Key Accountabilities:
• Preparing appropriate teaching materials、
• Establishing, promoting and maintaining a focused and productive classroom learning environment.
• Writing student assignments, in-term tests and end of course examinations and related mark schemes to deadlines set by the Academic Director/Examinations Officer.
• Undertaking the regular grading of student work and providing students with substantial and helpful feedback on that work.
• Participating fully in the summative assessment of students through the grading of assignments, in-term tests/quizzes and final course examinations.
• Supplying final course grades to the Academic Director/Examinations Officer Participating in staff meetings, as called by the Academic Director.
• Assisting the Academic Director and administrative staff in student orientation.
