QA specialist / Factory Auditor
at Mr Chan in Hong Kong
A Leading European Telecom Company invites the right candidate to apply for the vacancy of “QA specialist / Factory Auditor” to join their team in Asia. We offer very attractive remuneration to the qualified candidates.
Job description
• Prepare audit plans and set out audit scopes and objectives for audit assignments.
• Conduct factory audit including standards/procedures (social accountability standards compliance, environmental, ethical & quality system) and post-audit remediation
• Draft audit reports containing details of audit findings and recommendations.
• Assist and follow-up on any issues with suppliers/factories for improvement and to ensure rectifications have been implemented timely.
• Product Inspection: monitor the production process, product quality and QC the finished product; making sure the product is delivered on time.
• Frequency travel in South China in the peak season.
Requirement :
• University Degree or Higher Diploma in engineering / quality management / compliance auditing related disciplines
• Min. 3-5 years experience of factory audit, product QC and compliance management in a consulting Company or a US/Europe Company Audit & Compliance Dept or a buying office environment.
• Knowledge and experience in the Telecom/Electronic and mobile phone accessories industry is a plus.
• Familiar with EU product Testing requirement and standard (CE, FCC, Rohs, and WEEE etc).
• Knowledge of international safety standard, strong experience in SA8000/OSHAS 18001/ ISO14000 and ISO9000. Formal training in these areas would be an advantage.
• Strong communication skill: Be able to communicate effectively between China factories and the UK team
• Fluent in English; Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Station in Hong Kong or Shenzhen
