Senior Operator GM Restaurant Manager - Saudi Arabia - Middle East
Salary Negotiable + Benefits (Accommodation, Transport Airfare, Medical, Visa and Meals)
A well know and Established Restaurant Group in South Africa is seeking the services of a Well Experienced and Qualified Senior General Manager in Dubai Middle East. This Candidate must be the Face of the business and play an important role in the development in staff and business overall.
Training will start in October 2011 till December in Cape Town. Training will continue in Saudi Arabia thereafter.
Definitely a Career Driven Person. This person must think outside the box and needs to be passionate in that what he does.
Requires Fields
· 5 - 7 Years of Senior Management Experience - Solid Track Record
· Matric / Relevant Hospitality Diploma an Advantage
· Valid Current Passport
· Overall running of the operation, quick thinker willing to make decisions on your own, willing to be trained into the group.
· Marketing and Sales Experience Needed. Good Understanding of Promotional Material and Specialities.
· Able to work extensive hours - not a clock watcher
· Able to understand the needs of the Restaurant Trade and different Cultures
· Need to have Interaction skills, Leadership skills/experience and follow attention to detail
· Knowledge of HR guidelines including basic IR, training, recruitment etc. Managing the Operations cost to employ and train staff.
· Knowledge of Administrative and Business Procedures
· Excellent Financial Acumen and understanding - Budgets, Targets, Turnover, Food Cost and Gp's. Understanding Bottom lines and Overheads - Managing the entire operation and guidelines.
· Knowledge of Safety, security and Hygiene standards and procedures
· Experience in how to deal with staff related issues
· Manage Day to day operations including ordering of stock, acceptance of stock, portion allocations, procurement related issues, stock losses and accountability.
· Need to be strong in Customer Service and be able to deal with Complaints in a Mature and Responsible Manner – Customer Care Specialist
· Need to give full Analyst Reports and Feedback to Business Owners (Directors)
· Must be an All Rounder
