Medical Billing - OB/GYN

The ideal candidate will have a knowledge base of CPT and ICD medical billing codes and terminology. The ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure independently and in a team setting. Computer, follow-up and detailed documentation skills are needed while maintaining positive attitude with excellent communication. Duties include:
• Monitor and review client accounts
• Identify and resolve issues arising from claim denials by making corrections to claims, insurance information
• Receive and review patient calls regarding patient statements providing explanation to their inquiry
• Communicate with insurance companies to check status of claims, reconsiderations, follow-up's and appeals
• Set-up patient payment plans
