We are looking for an experienced state underwriting manager to join a rapidly growing team. 457 sponsorship available.
Our client, one of the leading Asian-Pacific Life insurance organisations, strong market presence in the Australian market are actively looking for a Retail Life Underwriter for their Adelaide office.
Key skills required for the role are:
• In depth knowledge of life insurance underwriting philosophies, approaches and technologies
• Excellent knowledge of trends in life insurance, underwriting and innovation
• Strong medical knowledge
• Commercially astute
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and plan own work
• High attention to detail
• Strong people management skills
• Over 10 years underwriting experience gained in an environment requiring development of new and innovative approaches
• Strong medical and underwriting skills and qualification
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline
• Demonstrable experience managing a medium to large sized team
