Duties & Responsibilities:
Design and construction of Building and bridges and other structures projects.
Various structural designs and documentations including design of all required earthworks, retaining walls, drainage and any other required structures.
All structure design according to IBC, ASTM, ACI, ASCE, UBC, and Igor codes.
Supervise the work of field teams.
Monitor progress, assess quality and certify construction in accordance with contract conditions.
The Structure Engineer would be on the office and be familiar with the, Standards for Structure Design.
The responsibilities of the Structure Design Engineer will include but are not limited to:
1. Provide direct service to site supervisor in inspection quality applications, tools techniques and systems.
2. Participate and support inspection quality improvement processes based on a range of tools and techniques.
3. Ability to generate and improve upon inspection instructions and concise inspection reports.
4. Flexibility to regulate work in different environments across the Project.
5. Project monitoring/evaluation and report writing.
6. Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the project.
7. Determine project seasonal duration for project implementation.
8. Having an appropriate work plan (Primavera P6) for his activities.
9. Knowledge of international standard construction materials, laboratory equipments and testing is desirable.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
2. A good background in structure Design, building construction projects.
3. High knowledge about international standards for design building and other structure project.
4. Be familiar with engineering (QC) technical terms.
5. Ability to understand RFP and, technical specifications and standards.
6. Strong command over computer software e.g. Auto CAD, SAP, SAF, ETABS, MS-Office. etc
7. Ability to work under presser and without supervision.
8. Flexibility in working hours.
9. Strong command over English
10. Over 5 years experience in similar capacity with having good technical qualification.
