Compensation Analyst - HR Service Center
at Stargroup Executive Search in Philippines
COMPENSATION ANALYST- HR SERVICE CENTER
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Receives and responds in a timely manner to questions and issues from HRMP’s, managers, and employees related to compensation, HRIS, and international assignments as escalated by Tier 1service center staff.
Responses are through VM, e-mail, and call center case management tools.
•Uses current information resources and databases on company policies, practices, and guidelines to research and resolve questions and issues as required. Escalates issues to SME’s, as appropriate.
•Provides timely information to HRBPs on compensation and rewards management programs, international assignments and related processes.
•Responsible for meeting the Service Level Agreements and key performance indicators, mutually agreed to by the Director of Compensation and the Service Center Manager.
•Prepares competitive salary market data and conducts analysis on market data to determine company’s market relationships and relative competitiveness.
•Prepares initial recommendations on the development of company salary structure, annual salary increase plans, and related annual Focal cycle activities. Reviews initial recommendations with SMEs. Revises and updates, as required.
•Provides guidance to BP’s to ensure any proposed salary adjustments, grade changes, bonus target changes conform to established company’s guidelines, policy and procedures, etc.
•Monitors call activity, evaluates trends and issues and escalates to appropriate HR Leaders.
•Assists in communicating company’s compensations and programs and strategies to line managers through a variety of on-line and electronic tools and mechanisms.
•May prepare special studies and make recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation., bonus plans, stock options, or similar compensation initiatives as well as international assignments.
•Reviews request for new or revised job classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•BS Graduate, at least 2-3 years of related experience, progressive HR experience.
•Must have solid understanding of and demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel. Prior HRIS user experience including report generating a plus.
•Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to synthesize and conceptualize compensation related issues.
•Must conduct analytic tasks using large and complicated spreadsheet input and data analysis.
•Proven ability to work with large data sets using electronic spreadsheets or similar analytic tools.
•Must be flexible to quickly respond to changing priorities and ad-hoc projects.
•Excellent customer service and communication skills (active listening,
written and verbal).
•Compensation planning, and/or administration and / or related HR program design experience, preferably in a large, international corporate environment.
•Previous HR experience in other than just Compensation / Benefits / HRIS / international assignments preferred.
•Must be willing to work in Cavite City (General Trias)
