"Job Responsibilities : Under the supervision of the Epidemiology Unit Director of designee, independently develop, manages, analyzes and interprets vital statistics, program evaluation, community health indicator and other public health data using, SAS, Excel and GIS and other statistical software applications. Prepares public health, program evaluation, epidemiologic and other technical reports for various audiences and purposes. Supports and collaborates with community partners by providing technical assistance to community based planning efforts. Oversees epidemiology related aspects of assigned projects and initiatives as needed.
Job Requirements : Graduation from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in epidemiology, biostatistics, demography or related disciple is required. (Must provide proof of graduation at time of interview). Two (2) yearswork experience in public health, epidemiology, quantitative research, demography or urban planning is required. Must possess a valid Drivers License and personal insured vehicle. (Must provide copy of license and proof of insurance and time of interview).
