We would like to invite qualified candidates to apply for the following position:
Audio Engineer and Project Manager / Technical Consultant.
We are currently looking to recruit an Audio Engineer and Project Manager / Technical Consultant based in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities.
• To work on events as an Audio Engineer. Liaising with clients to find out their audio content requirements.
• Attend meetings and site visits as and when directed. Meet with clients to advise them on technical and production requirements for events.
• To plan, prepare and run events in Hong Kong and Asia. To take events from clients requirements and plan the event in full. Source equipment, venues and personnel and manage both the technical and production aspects of the show.
Requirements.
• Minimum of five years of technical and production work experience in the events industry.
• Proven work experience with major clients in the events and leisure industry.
• Higher education in either Hospitality or Audio Engineering.
• High technical knowledge of AV and I.T systems. Advanced knowledge and experience of Studio Audio Recording, Advanced Sound Desk Sampling and Mixing, Live Music Mixing is a must. Also need to be highly qualified in AutoCAD, MS Office, Apple Software and Systems, and Sketch-Up.
• Experienced in purchasing and budgeting of equipment and events.
• Already has a large client base in Hong Kong and has a working relationship with Hong Kong and Singapore based event production managers and technical personnel.
• Proficiency in Malay and Native English speaker is a must. Many of our clients are based in Malaysia and Singapore.
