BRAND OFFICER:

Responsible for developing plans and executing projects and initiatives that supports the broader short and long-term marketing/ brand strategy. Moreover, collaborates with Retail group, warehouse, purchasing and HR to ensure the brand remains relevant to consumers and that all initiatives support the brand promise. Furthermore, constitute higher sales/ profits.

Job Description:

Brand (General):

•Steward of the brand that supports our brand promise, brand vision, brand position, brand architecture and achieves overall business goals for every brand.

•Analyzes historical new product launches, and reports on vitality rates.

•Analyzes consumer trends and information, and categories to help identify product categories to enter as future sources of growth.

•Analyzes consumer, category, competition, and channel/customer as part of a situation assessment.

•Develops pricing & pack strategies, improved margin mix, trade spending plans and distribution goals in order to develop actionable key performance indicators (KPI’s).

•Conducts analysis and periodical reviews of the brand, competitive, category, customer and consumer trends to enhance the brand’s equity and marketplace performance.

•Develops growth targets, business objectives and brand strategies for the brand that aligns with principal business plan/ targets.

•Leads brand planning process by developing and executing annual brand target setting & innovation review and brand strategy review.

•Responsible for all brand related aspects which include planning, buying, selling, marketing, pricing, dispatching and ordering

Brand Management:

•Sets sales target/ forecast for each brand per channel, per account, per retail stores/ branches and ensures that these are met through various marketing programs/ activities.

•Monitors monthly sales performance such as but not limited to the following product brands and recommends/ suggests improvement/ programs to meet the sales target.

•Regularly implements marketing/ brand promotions to increase sales for the brands in both retail and trade, at least possible cost to the company. Moreover, assists other institution/ department/ division and colleague in marketing and brand campaigns/ activities.

•Ensures all brands are well and properly distributed to target outlets on time with complete marketing support, such as but not limited to sign boards, and other marketing paraphernalia.


Business Development:

•Plans and implements marketing and brand campaigns to boost and increase awareness of brands to its target consumers/ market.

•Regularly coordinates with malls for events/ shows/ movie calendar for possible tie up and infuse brands that the company carries.

•Analyzes consumer trends and information, and categories to help identify product categories to enter as future sources of growth.

•Analyzes market, consumer, and competitive information in setting new product pricing and managing price on existing item/ products/ brands.

•Analyzes consumer, category, competition, and channel/ customer as part of a situation assessment and brand positioning.

•Conducts analysis and periodical reviews of the brand’s equity and marketplace performance.

•Works with retail sales manager, assistant brand manager, and wholesale sales manager to identify and develop productivity initiatives.

Product Management

•Prepares annual marketing plan, feasibility study, budget and purchase forecast for submission to principals (with updates as requested)

•Regularly coordinates with all principals mentioned preceding herein and submit mandatory reports, proposals and other document.

•Submits report on monthly sales performance of the brands that may be required per item per month, per branch and per SKU.

•Assists executive assistant, audit supervisors, admin assistant, and purchasing officer in purchase order, shipment schedules, samples and materials request, and expense reimbursement with principals.

•Works collaboratively with graphics department to execute best packaging.

Communications

•Updates website content regarding stores and product brands.

•Releases of monthly mailers/ e-zines to such as but not limited to franchisees, customers regarding the assigned store and product brands.

•Coordinates with graphic designer /or MIS supervisor on required materials for promo, events, and campaigns.

Requirements:

•Graduate of a reputable university (preferably Marketing course)

•At least 2 years of experience preferably from retail- consumer goods.

•Preferably female ages 32-38 years old who used to work for top corporations but stopped working because of marriage and kids, now looking to keep herself busy and look for personal fulfilment.

•Willing to work in Pasig area
