Requirements:

  • Proficient with 8I, 10g database administration on windows, Linux and Solaris platforms.
  • General administrative skills on windows, Linux and Solaris operating systems.
  • Proficient with RAC setup and configuration.
  • Ability to perform database patching in RAC environments.
  • Proficient with database tuning.
  • Proficient with backup and recovery techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues.
  • Provide database support for applications team.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance and database monitoring.
  • General knowledge on products such as MSSQL Server/F-secure/Privy Link slift/ Websphere/Etrush access control are an added advantage.
