Job Description: PROJECT ENGINEER – Aluminum Works-2 posts
Department:Projects Department
Reporting to: Projects Manager
a)General
To plan, organize and execute the assigned project as per technical specifications agreed with the customer within the time and cost frame.
b)Education
Must be Graduate in Civil Engineering with 3-5 yrs experience or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 7-8 yrs experience.
c)Technical Experience and exposure required:
•Should be able to communicate in an efficient manner.
•Should be able to lead the team.
•Should be quality and cost cautions.
d)IT Exposure: Should be strong in computers.
e)Job Description and Job Accountabilities:
•To plan, organize and execute the project within the budget and time and to the entire satisfaction of customer / client.
•To liaise with the client / contractor and the processing unit for smooth execution of the project.
•To plan all resources required to complete the project in time.
•To guide the Site Foremen and masons to carryout the job as per the shop drawings approved by the Consultant.
•To inspect the job carried out by the labours before offering to client / consultant to minimize any rejection on account of quality.
•To ensure work is carried out without any further compromise or quality and health & safety plans.
•To follow ISO procedures and ensure to maintain the same.
•To provide details every month on the quantity of work executed to raise the monthly invoice.
•To communicate with Consultant / Contractor on regular basis.
•To attend the progress meetings with the client and contractor.
•To participate in the monthly meetings with the Manager & CEO.
•To find out solution of the problem independently or in co-ordination with the Consultant.
•To take decision for the workers’ time, leave, etc.
•To order the material, tools and plants for the project.
External:
•Job holder to work at the construction sites and the site office.
•Job holder needs to visit the processing unit at regular intervals to ensure smooth flow of the processed material.
