QUANTITY SURVEYOR / PROJECT ANALYST - for Aluminum Works

Job Description: QUANTITY SURVEYOR / PROJECT ANALYST - for Aluminum works
a)General
To coordinate and assist in pre and post stages of the contract for successful completion of work done in as per project plan
b)Education
Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Q.S.
c)Technical Experience and exposure required:
• 3-5 years experience in construction industry.
• Knowledge of Building contracts and an appreciation of general building construction is necessary.
• Knowledge of Standard Method of measurement is must
• Good communication and interpersonal skills,
• Basic Arabic speaking skills a distinct advantage
d)IT Exposure: Should be strong in computers.
e)Job Description and Job Accountabilities:
•Pre and post tender planning on pert chart to assist the commercial dept for costing and submission of tender.
•Development of Construction Project Management / construction programmes for allocation of resources at pre tender stage.
•Assist in preparation of method statements for the project in defining steps of the job, based on pre tender planning.
•Liaison, coordinate, monitor, update time/cost schedules for company and client.
•Planned / released budget and resource analysis for all on going projects phase wise for better management through resource histograms / cost curve.
•Periodic monitor resource/expenditure for all projects and prepare progress reports / programmes for management review.
•Assist in ascertaining entitlements/claims preparation for all queries.
•Visit site in case of variances to assess completion of project, match with drawing, value completed work and recommend preparation of invoice for the work done.
•Understand that time frame and value differs from project to project. Delays in construction and good adds lot of complexity to the job.
•The contract terms of each project is different, detailed understanding of each project is required with attention to each minute detail to assist in safe guarding company’s interest.
