TECHNICAL MANAGER- Aluminum Works

JOB SPECIFICATION – TECHNICAL MANAGER
•Strategic planning in Design & Technical matters
oCreation and update of technical manuals.
oEstablishment and revision of the design team’s systems and methodologies.
oMonitoring and assisting in the technical development of the company.
oImprove the filing and documentation control system.
oImprove the methods of communication with the sites to ensure faster and more effective technical responses.
oEnsure and equilibrium between safety and economy of the designs and technical solutions.
•Managing the Design & Technical Department on day to day activities.
oAssignment of job responsibilities for the other design team members.
oCoordinate the activities of the design team members to raise the effectiveness of their goals.
oFollow up with the senior design engineer and other team members in order to achieve all technical and design requirements of the projects.
oMonitor the design of specific technical solution and conceptual designs.
oFollow up with the project engineers assigned to the different site in order to back them from the head office when needed.
•Administrative affairs and follow ups
oAssessment of department needs based on the company’s development policy.
oRepresenting the department in the HOD meetings and kick-off meetings.
oFinalization of the pricing at tender stage.
oEnsuring the technical qualifications of the engineers and quality controllers
oMonitoring the application of the rules and regulations with regards to quality.
oExperience on shoring and piling work in design 8+ years.
oCommercial and contractual knowledge of post tender technical and commercial meeting with client representatives.
Education:
MS in Soil Mechanics. With 5-7 years of experience in similar capacity.
OR
BS in Soil Mechanics, with 7-9 yeas of experience in similar capacity.
